Olympic Day Virtual Race 2019 is hosted by U.S. Olympians and Paralympians and open to anyone, anywhere, anytime during the entire month of June. Enter yourself, club, family, company...today!

Make history - Get moving! Be part of the first ever 5K/3-mile Olympic Day Virtual Race. Celebrate Olympic values and the joy of physical activity by dedicating a workout for a great cause.

Join thousands of Olympians, Paralympians, and other Olympic supporters (schools, businesses, sports clubs, community groups, churches) from across the USA - and the world.

It's Free - There is no cost to participate.

Customize your race: Join at a time, place, pace, and sport activity of your liking. Do the race with others or by yourself, outdoors in nature or indoors on a stationary machine, in a single session or over multiple workouts - you'll be part of a global Olympic community!

Joining the Race is as EASY as 1, 2, 3...

STEP 1: Join the race by clicking on any 'Register' button on this page. You'll receive an e-Bib at enrollment (sent as printable PDF).

STEP 2: Tell everyone about it! Grab your buddies, connect with them online, and help us meet our goal of promoting Olympic Values and Ideals so that they're more widely understood, practiced, and celebrated! And don't forget to hashtag #ODVR and #olympicdayvirtualrace, and tag @olympicdayvirtualrace

STEP 3: Walk, Run, Bike, Roll, Row, or Swim the 'race' distance of 5K/3 miles during the month of June. Race anywhere, anytime and enter your stats before end-of-day June 30th. You'll receive an official Olympic Day 2019 Certificate of Participation with race completion (sent as printable PDF).

A) The team options will be displayed during registration process. If you have already registered for the campaign, please login on this site and you can find the link to manage your team in the dropdown on top right of the page. Olympic Day is an annual celebration of the Olympic movement and the joy of sport. It is celebrated on June 23rd and throughout the entire month of June. For more information visit www.olympic.org.

Olympic Day in the United States
The United States began celebrating Olympic Day in 2009, and it has continued to grow each year. In 2017, more than 560,000 individuals participated in 2,400 Olympic Day celebrations all across the country. Host organizations and cities joined more than 950 Olympians, Paralympians, coaches and hopefuls in celebrating Olympism in their communities.

USOPA aims to build a comprehensive national association of Olympians and Paralympians. In furtherance of this goal, the organization shall facilitate the formation of local chapters; help members promote Olympism and Paralympic values in their communities; and encourage members to stay engaged in the Olympic and Paralympic movements.

Olympic Day is on June 23 but is celebrated throughout June every year all over the world.

The worldwide celebration aims to promote fitness, well-being, culture and education, while also observing the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect. The Olympic Day pillars – move, learn and discover – are promoted in every corner of the globe. What is Charity Footprints?

Charity Footprints is a social enterprise that connects fitness and charitable giving. We empower people just like you, to get fit & give back.

How will I track my distance?

You can track your workouts by setting up your devices (Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Watch, Google Fit, Misfit), or download the Charity Footprints' iOS or Android app and track your workouts toward this campaign.

If you workout indoors (treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike etc.), you can upload your workouts here.

How do I join a team on this campaign?

While registering for the campaign, select the team you'd like to join or create a new team and invite others to #GetFitGiveBack with you. If you want to join a team (or create your team) after registration, login to the campaign site and you would find a link to edit "My Team" in the menu under your profile in the header.
